EFT

What is EFT?
EFT stands for emotional freedom technique and is a technique which was devised by Gary Craig. EFT works from the understanding that all negative emotions are caused by a disturbance in the body’s energy system. If you correct those disturbances then the emotional upset will dissipate.

EFT works by gently tapping on acupoints whilst focusing on the specific problem you are working on. It has been described as acupuncture without the needles. Clinical trials have shown that EFT is able to rapidly reduce the emotional impact of memories and patterns which may have been running a long time which can trigger emotional distress. Once the distress is reduced or removed, the body can often rebalance itself, and accelerate healing.

EFT is very easy to learn and apply yourself, for the simpler issues and can have a positive impact very quickly. For more complex issues it is important to work with a qualified practitioner.
